General Information

Pupates attached to a leaf by silken threads.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.

Forewing length: 12-14mm.
Foodplant(s): Eared Willow (Salix aurita), Grey Willow (Salix cinerea)
Flying: Two generations, May-early June and July-early August

Habitat

Sallow scrub on open heathland and damp grassland not shaded by other trees.
