Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes come to light.
Often disturbed during day

Foodplant(s): Wild Hop (Humulus lupulus var. lupulus), Black Currant (Ribes nigrum), Red Currant (Ribes rubrum)
Flying: Two generations, May-July and August

Woodland edges, gardens and fens.

Recorded in 51 (18.9%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
