Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.

Foodplant(s): Bramble (Rubus fruticosus), Dewberry (Rubus caesius), Raspberry (Rubus idaeus)
Flying: One generation, June-August

Habitat

Woodland, heathland, scrub, gardens seeming to prefer bramble under trees.
