General Information

Pupates in vegetation close to the ground.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.

Forewing length: 10-11mm.
Foodplant(s): lichen, moss
Flying: One generation, late June-late August

Habitat

Fens, bogs, damp grassland, marshes and coastal dunes.

Regional Information

Recorded in 42 (15.6%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
