General Information

This species was previously thought to be a rather dark but distinctive form of S. ocellana with comparatively narrow forewings, a nearly pure white ground colour with blackish grey markings and larvae which feed on larch.

Foodplant(s): larches (Larix spp.), Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis)
Flying: Two overlapping generations, June-August
