General Information

Adults can often be found overwintering inside garden sheds etc.

The larvae feed within the seedpods of broad-leaved willowherb and other willowherbs.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an adult.

Wingspan: 7-11.5mm
Flying: All year

Habitat

Pond and stream banks, woodland clearings, waste ground and gardens.

Regional Information

Recorded in 35 (13%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.

Last recorded in June 2023
