General Information

The larvae mine the underside of leaves, between veins, causing the leaf to arch.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.

Wingspan: 8-9mm
Foodplant(s): Wayfaring Tree (Viburnum lantana), Guelder-rose (Viburnum opulus), Lauristinus (Viburnum tinus)
Flying: Two generations, May and August
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Common

Habitat

Chalk soils.
