General Information

This species was first discovered in Britain in 1970 and it is expanding its range. Its small size and the whitish band on the forelegs are diagnostic.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an adult.

Wingspan: 11-12mm
Foodplant(s): Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus)
Flying: One generation, July-April (hibernates)
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Local
