General Information

This species has brassy-green forewings. Males have antennae over twice the length of the forewing. The females have slightly shorter antennae.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Flies during the day

Wingspan: 9-12mm.
Foodplant(s): Cuckooflower (Cardamine pratensis), Garlic Mustard (Alliaria petiolata)
Flying: One generation, May-June
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Common

Habitat

Wet meadows, grassland and woods.

Regional Information

Recorded in 25 (9.3%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
