General Information

This species has a ground colour which varies from tan to dark chocolate.

 

The larvae are entirely aquatic.


Wingspan: 22-30 mm.
Foodplant(s): aquatic plants
Flying: One generation, June-September

Habitat

Woodland and gardens.

Recorded in 107 (39.6%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
