General Information

This is a rather plain looking moth, usually with a distinct yellowish suffusion around the head and the base of the forewings.

Flying: Two overlapping generations, June-August

Habitat

Coastal sandhills, waste ground, grassland, fens, heathland, scrub and dampish areas.

Regional Information

Recorded in 56 (20.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
