General Information

This species has a characteristic rose-pink colouration to the forewing.


Wingspan: 10 - 17mm.
Foodplant(s): teasels (Dipsacus spp.)
Flying: One generation, May-August
National status: Local

Habitat

Chalkland, sandhills, scrub, rough banks and stream banks.

Regional Information

Recorded in 30 (11.1%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.

Last recorded in July 2018
