Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes come to light.

Forewing length: 11-13mm.
Foodplant(s): goosefoots (Chenopodium spp.), oraches (Atriplex spp.)
Flying: One generation, mid June-early August
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Local

Habitat

Saltmarshes and other tidal or coastal habitats.

Regional Information

Recorded in 38 (14.1%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
