Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes come to light.

Forewing length: 14-15mm.
Foodplant(s): Prickly Lettuce (Lactuca serriola), Wild Lettuce (Lactuca virosa)
Flying: One generation, June-early August
UK Presence: Resident, Possible Immigrant
National status: Proposed Red Data Book

Habitat

Disturbed ground, road verges, rough open ground and brown-field sites.

Regional Information

Recorded in 18 (6.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
