Pupates on the food plant or leaf litter, suspended by silken threads.
Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.

Flying: One generation, June-July
UK Presence: Resident, Possible Immigrant
National status: Nationally Scarce A

Damp heaths and mosses.
