This species flies from dusk, but seldom travels far and rarely comes to light.

 

Pupates in plant debris on or near the ground.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.

Forewing length: 11-13mm.
Foodplant(s): Sea-beet (Beta vulgaris subsp. maritima)
Flying: One generation, late June-July
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Nationally Scarce B

Coastal.
