General Information

This moth usually keeps to the higher parts of the trees and, on sunny afternoons, can be seen flying around the tips of the branches.

Flies during the day

Wingspan: 10 - 13 mm.
Foodplant(s): Silver Fir (Abies alba), firs (Abies spp.)
Flying: One generation, June-July
National status: Nationally Scarce B

Habitat

Parkland and mixed woodland.
