General Information

This species resembles lighter forms of A. semifasciana, but has a narrower forewing, a whiter ground colour and a dark suffusion along the dorsum.


Wingspan: c.18-20 mm.
Foodplant(s): White Willow (Salix alba), Crack-willow (Salix fragilis)
Flying: One generation, July-August
National status: Nationally Scarce B

Habitat

River banks, bogs and water meadows.

Regional Information

Recorded in 21 (7.8%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
