General Information

The members of Hedya family are all very similar. This moth can be distinguished by the clean creamy outer part of the forewing.


Wingspan: 16-21 mm.
Foodplant(s): Rosaceae (Rosaceae spp.), Apple (Malus domestica)
Flying: One generation, June-July
National status: Common

Recorded in 37 (13.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
