This is one of the largest of the UK Cnephasia family.

Foodplant(s): herbaceous plants
Flying: One generation, July-August
National status: Common

Habitat

Grassland, gardens, fens and marshes.

Regional Information

Recorded in 120 (44.4%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
