General Information

This is quite a distinctive species with a pinkish ground colour and a broad brown streak on the forewing.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an adult.

Flying: One generation, September-May (hibernates)

Habitat

Open grassy areas, usually on chalk or limestone, especially near the coast.
