General Information

This moth has rather indistinct markings and genital dissection is often necessary for conclusive identification.

 

The larvae produce a large brownish blotch mine with a central reddish spot.


Wingspan: 8-10mm.
Foodplant(s): honeysuckles (Lonicera spp.)
Flying: One generation, April-May

Habitat

Semi-open woodland habitats.
