Known to fruit growers as the plum fruit moth or red plum maggot, this species is a sporadic pest in plum orchards.
Hedges and orchards and gardens where plums and damsons are grown.
Recorded in 18 (6.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
