General Information

This species flies at sunrise and from dusk onwards.


Wingspan: 14-18 mm.
Foodplant(s): St John's-worts (Hypericum spp.)
Flying: Two generations, June-July and August-September
National status: Common

Habitat

Open woodland, meadows, grassland, waysides and embankments.

Regional Information

Recorded in 47 (17.4%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
