General Information

The larvae have a distinctive case made of the rings of a mined leaf.


Wingspan: 11-14.5 mm
Foodplant(s): Hedge Woundwort (Stachys sylvatica), Black Horehound (Ballota nigra), White Horehound (Marrubium vulgare), Betony (Stachys officinalis)
Flying: Two overlapping generations, June-August
National status: Common
