General Information

The larvae initially produce a narrow gallery mine before creating one or more shorter mines or windows.

Both sexes come to light.
Flies during the day

Wingspan: 8-9mm
Foodplant(s): Sea Aster (Aster tripolium)
Flying: Two generations, June and August

Habitat

Coastal saltmarshes.
