General Information

This species is now restricted to the chalk downs of southern England.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an egg.

Wingspan: M: 29-34mm, F: 32-37mm
Foodplant(s): Sheep's-fescue (Festuca ovina)
Flying: One generation, late July-mid September
UK Presence: Resident

Habitat

Open chalk grassland.

Regional Information

This species has been recorded in Huntingdonshire, but without locational data.
