This species is not a true Pug.

 

Pupates in the food plant.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes come to light but in small numbers only.
Often disturbed during day

Forewing length: 11-13mm.
Foodplant(s): Yellow Loosestrife (Lysimachia vulgaris)
Flying: One generation, June-July

Woodland, scrub, fens and marshes.

Regional Information

Recorded in 5 (1.9%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
