General Information

Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes come to light.

Forewing length: 20-22mm.
Foodplant(s): oraches (Atriplex spp.), goosefoots (Chenopodium spp.), Knotgrass (Polygonium aviculare), low-growing plants
Flying: One generation, June-early July
UK Presence: Immigrant
National status: Uncommon/Rare

Habitat

Fens, damp meadow and marshes.

Regional Information

Recorded in 4 (1.5%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
