General Information

Similar to many other whitish species of Coleophora, and genital examination is often necessary for a conclusive identification.

 

The larvae make a case from the seedhead. The case can sometimes be seen moving round the flowerhead.

Habitat

Salt-marshes, river-banks and damp areas.
