General Information

The larvae produce a long strongly arched leaf mine.


Wingspan: 7-8mm
Foodplant(s): Hazel (Corylus avellana)
Flying: Two generations, May and August
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Common

Habitat

Woodland, hedgerows and scrub.

Regional Information

Recorded in 127 (47%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.

Last recorded in November 2022
