General Information

The larvae mine the leaves of Field Maple.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.

Wingspan: 5-8mm.
Foodplant(s): Field Maple (Acer campestre)
Flying: Two/three generations, April-May, July and September
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Common

Habitat

Woodland and hedgerows.

Regional Information

Recorded in 57 (21.1%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
