General Information

The wild larval stages of this species are not well known.

 

Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes come to light.

Forewing length: 17-21mm.
Flying: One generation, late June-July

Habitat

Open woodland, gardens, hedgerows and grassland.

Regional Information

Recorded in 25 (9.3%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.

Last recorded in July 2022
