General Information

Second brood individuals are often different to those of the first and closely resemble Maiden's Blush.

 

Overwinters as a pupa attached to a leaf or stem.

Habitat

Usually mature beech woods, but also hedgerow trees, parks and gardens.

Regional Information

Recorded in 7 (2.6%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
