General Information

This species has a characteristic whitish longitudinal streak which splits into two fingers, with dark edging to one side.


Wingspan: c.26 mm.
Foodplant(s): Common Saltmarsh-grass (Puccinellia maritima), grasses
Flying: One generation, July-August
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Local

Habitat

Grassland, marshes and fens.

Regional Information

Recorded in 32 (11.9%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
