General Information

Similar to A. betuletana, distinguished by the hook-like projection leading into the black of the forewing. Open woodland, margins of woods, gravel pits, marshes and banks of streams.


Wingspan: 17-22 mm.
Foodplant(s): willows (Salix spp.)
Flying: One generation, July-August
