This species has a characteristic reticulate (chequered) forewing pattern which distinguishes it from similar species.


Wingspan: 18-21 mm.
Foodplant(s): deciduous trees
Flying: One generation, July-August
National status: Common

Recorded in 68 (25.2%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
