General Information

This is a relatively plain greyish brown male with indistinct darker mottling. The female is much smaller with more distinct markings.

The larvae produce flat whitish mines.


Wingspan: 8-10 mm
Foodplant(s): grasses
Flying: Two generations, April-June and July-September
