The larvae create a silvery gallery mine.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.

Foodplant(s): Ribwort Plantain (Plantago lanceolata)
Flying: Two generations, May-June and July-August

Habitat

Grassland, heathland, waste ground, downland, roadside verges and coastal areas.

Regional Information

Recorded in 35 (13%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
