General Information

This is quite a distinctive species.

 

The larvae initially mine the leaves before creating small feeding windows.


Wingspan: 6-8mm
Foodplant(s): Common Lime (Tilia x europaea), Small-leaved Lime (Tilia cordata)
Flying: One generation, June-August

Regional Information

Recorded in 104 (38.5%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
