General Information

Pupates in a hairy cocoon in a crevice in bark or in foliage.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.
Often found at rest during day

Forewing length: 18-27mm.
Foodplant(s): Aspen (Populus tremula), poplars (Populus spp.), sallows (Salix spp.), willows (Salix spp.)
