Pupates in leaf litter.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes come to light but in small numbers only.

Forewing length: 9-12mm.
Foodplant(s): sallows (Salix spp.), White Willow (Salix alba)
Flying: Two generations, May-June and July-early August
UK Presence: Resident

Habitat

Damp woodland, scrub, fens, heathland.

Regional Information

Recorded in 18 (6.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
