Overwinters as Overwinters as an egg.
Both sexes come to light but in small numbers only.

Foodplant(s): Alder (Alnus glutinosa), Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa)
Flying: One generation, late June-early August

Habitat

Damp woodland, scrub, hedgerows and gardens.

Regional Information

Recorded in 63 (23.3%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
