General Information

The moths of this species have a distinctive shaggy appearance caused by erect scales.

 

The larvae mine the stems of various coarse grasses.

Foodplant(s): Cock's-foot (Dactylis glomerata), meadow-grasses (Poa spp.), foxtails (Alopecurus spp.)
