This moth has a characteristic obscure forewing pattern and a broad median fascia.


Wingspan: 15-20mm.
Foodplant(s): compositae (Compositae), buttercups (Ranunculus spp.)
Flying: One generation, July-August
National status: Local

Habitat

Rough fields and marshes.
