Pupates in leaf litter.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes come to light but in small numbers only.
Often found at rest during day

Forewing length: 8-9mm.
Foodplant(s): Common Bird's-foot-trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), clovers (Trifolium spp.)
Flying: One generation, late June-early August
UK Presence: Immigrant, Possible Resident
National status: Uncommon/Rare

Habitat

Sand-dunes.
