Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes come to light but in small numbers only.

Forewing length: 13-17mm.
Foodplant(s): Lady's Bedstraw (Galium verum), bedstraws (Galium spp.)
Flying: One generation, March-April
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Common

Habitat

Damp woodlands, mosses and heathland.
