General Information

This species, which used to be found at Wicken Fen, is now only found in the Norfolk Broads.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.

Wingspan: M: 76-83mm, F: 86-93mm
Foodplant(s): Milk-parsley (Peucedanum palustre)
Flying: Two generations, late May-early July and August
UK Presence: Resident

Habitat

Open fens and marshes.

Regional Information

Recorded in 8 (3%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.

Last recorded in August 1991
