General Information

This species is the only UK member of its family. Despite its common name, each wing is actually separated into 6 plumes.


Wingspan: 14-16 mm.
Foodplant(s): honeysuckles (Lonicera spp.)
Flying: All year

Habitat

Gardens and woodland.

Recorded in 55 (20.4%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
