General Information

This species is sexually dimorphic. The male is generally larger. The species resembles a Cnephasia in general appearance but with directly transverse markings.


Wingspan: 11-16 mm.
Foodplant(s): hawthorns (possibly) (Crataegus spp.)
Flying: One generation, May-July
National status: Local

Habitat

Hedgerows.

Regional Information

Recorded in 22 (8.1%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.

Last recorded in June 2022

Recorded date range (Adult): 08 May to 13 August
